and what is its mission?

How does art play a role
in the Patchwork initiative?

Who creates and presents
the collections on the Runway?

Patchwork is a student-run climate fashion initiative within the Vancouver School
District (involving students grades 8-12 across multiple secondary schools) dedicated
to highlighting fashion's impact on the environment & promoting sustainable changes
in the industry.

Their core belief is that art is political and can be a powerful tool for change,
empowering youth to use creative expression to inspire real-world environmental
awareness.

The showcase brings together hundreds of student volunteers, organizers, and
talented student designers from across the Vancouver School Board to present
unique, eco-conscious runway collections.
