Luis Gustavo Corrales, founder of NOLO, was born in 1989 in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico. Raised by his grandmother and uncle, he began altering his clothes at the age of 10, and in 2017 officially launched his brand. Self-taught and free from traditional methods, he creates unique pieces directly on fabric, like a free style creation, with no limits. Every time he starts a project he puts the idea inside his mind directly into the fabric; using fashion as his second language to tell stories and share emotions. Today, NOLO stands for originality, storytelling, style, and the sensation of feeling good wearing something that makes you feel cool and fresh, born from the streets and brought to the high fashion and international runways.

Rooted in the Sonoran desert and driven by a constant search for originality, Luis transforms objects and materials into pieces with their own soul. His creative process is instinctive and unbound, blending culture, memories, and feelings in a contemporary and subversive vision. NOLO’s collections Mexicanolo, and NOLO VOL I, II and III have been showcased at New York Fashion Week, Milan Fashion Week, and Vancouver, Featured in the official schedule of The Show Fashion week on the platform of Global Fashion Collective. With artists collaborations ranging from Mon Laferte, Carin León, Gabito Ballesteros, and Mario Bautista to Mariah Carey’s dancers—always marked by a signature fusion of streetwear, art, and high fashion full of soul.
