Bonbonne was established six years ago by Yuko Sakurai as a children’s fashion brand. What began as her wish to create one-of-a-kind garments for her son grew into a passion that evolved into a label dedicated to bringing out children’s natural smiles. Her career path is unconventional: while working full-time at an IT company, she devotes her free time with energy and commitment to her creative work as a designer. Her designs blend comfort with a touch of maturity, drawing inspiration from medieval European dress, modern Gothic Lolita, Japanese kimono, and traditional Japanese hues.
